Obagi-C Rx C-Therapy Night Cream is a rich, non-greasy cream for evening use. This 4% Hydroquinone formula is enriched with Vitamin C and E. Hydroquinone decreases the formation of melanin in the skin. Melanin is the pigment in the skin that gives it a brown color. Therefore, hydroquinone applied topically is used to gradually lighten areas of darkened skin such as freckles, age spots, chloasma, and melasma. Working throughout the night, it therapeutically restores the skin's healthy glow for a more radiant appearance.

Directions: Apply in the evening after Obagi-C Rx C-Cleansing Gel. Apply gently and evenly to face, taking care to avoid eyes.

Ingredients

Each gram of Obagi-C Rx C-Therapy Night Cream contains Hydroquinone 40 mg/gm in a base of Purified Water, Glycerin, Cetyl Alcohol, PPG-2 Myristyl Ether Propionate, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, L-Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), TEA-Salicylate, Lactic Acid, Saponins, Methylparaben, Edetate Disodium, Propylparaben, BHT, Phenyl Trimethicone, Sodium Metabisulfite.

Pregnancy and Nursing Advisory
In an effort to avoid injury to the developing baby, most skin care topicals have not been clinically tested on pregnant or nursing women; therefore, we advise that they not be used. Products containing benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid,hydroquinoine and tretinoin or similar topicals such as products containing retinol should NOT be used when pregnant or nursing. You should also discontinue the use of skin care products containing these ingredients for at least one month before contemplating pregnancy. If in doubt, please refer to the product insert for further information and consult with your physician.

Some skincare products that contain hydroquinoine may also contain the preservative sodium metabisulfite, a sulfite that may cause serious allergic type reactions (e.g., hives, itching, wheezing, anaphylaxis severe asthma attacks) in certain susceptible persons.
